Felicia Vereen has been promoted to the position of manager of the Barnesville Civic Center. She replaces Buddy Lanier who is leaving the center next week to serve as Lamar County recreation director. Vereen has served as civic center supervisor for the past 11 years. ”Felecia’s commitment to the operation of the civic center and good customer service will insure the continued success of the special events facility and fitness center. She has proven herself to be a very qualified manager and dedicated employee,” city manager Kenny Roberts said.
