Veterans Pkwy ablaze again

For the second time in three short weeks, former forest land devastated by the April 28 tornado was ablaze Monday morning.This time, the fire was located behind the former Hot Shot store which is under renovation. Local firefighters and Georgia Forestry Commission personnel had to be called in to battle the blaze. One firefighter described the mess as an “out of control controlled burn”.
