It was the war that changed everything; the war that America did not want to fight. Many of those who did fight in it have never really been properly acknowledged for their service. That will change April 18 in Thomaston when volunteers will stage ‘˜Welcome Home’, an evening of patriotic events to honor Vietnam veterans.
