Viola Dingler Schwartz

Mrs. Viola Annette Dingler Schwartz, age 78, of Macon passed away Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2014 at a Macon healthcare facility. She was born May 14, 1935 in Barnesville to the late Mr. Manuel Bernice Dingler and the late Mrs. Rachel Claudine Drake Dingler. She was a member of the Sha-Arey Synagogue. Viola was a very special lady, wife, mother and friend with many talents. She was a member of the Ladies Golf Association at Idle Hour Country Club and a member of the Mid-Georgia Gem and Mineral Society. She had a love for art, golf, Mother Nature and life. Survivors include her husband, Stuart Irwin Schwartz; two daughters, Betty Drake Schwartz and Anne Schwartz Mitchell; and son-in-law, Charles Mitchell, all from Macon; three grandcats, Frankie Stripes, Scraggley Anne and Cloudy; and one granddog, Woody. Funeral services for Mrs. Viola Schwartz will be conducted from the graveside on Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014 at 11:30 a.m. in Lamar Memory Gardens with the Rev. Franklin Gibson officiating.
