Virginia Mae Hindmon

Mrs. Virginia Mae Hindmon, 83, of Milner, passed away Thursday, June 12, 2014 at her home. She was born Dec. 9, 1930 in Polk County, daughter of the late Charles Emerson and Estelle Irvin Pyles. She was the owner and operator of a residential cleaning service and loved flowers and hummingbirds. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Marie and David Jones of Barnesville; sons, Donald Hindmon of Hampton and Dennis Hindmon of Griffin; daughter-in-law, Jane Hindmon of Milner; eight grandchildren and their spouses, Angie and Andy Huff, Terry Hindmon, Chris and Reneé Holloway, Brandy and Terry Batchelor, Kimberly and Allen Beavers, Tracie and Greg Davis, Ben and Tina Hindmon and Courtney and Jake Owensby; great-grandchildren, Kayte Huff and fiancé Tim Peugh, William Huff, Blake Holloway, Brooke Holloway, Victoria Singletary, Landon Owensby, Ryleigh Owensby, Logan Beavers, Brianna Beavers, Brittany and Russell Drinnen, Eli Batchelor, Hailey Batchelor, Courtney Williams and Kaytlyn Williams; great-great-grandson, Bentley Drinnen; brother and sister-in-law, Franklin and Larue Pyles; sisters and a brother-in-law, Margaret and Sam Price, Barbara Tomlin and Mary Simpson and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wiley Ray Hindmon; and sons, Jerry Hindmon and Charles Ray Hindmon. Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the Breedlove Memorial Chapel with Rev. Ken Horton officiating. Interment will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens in Jonesboro.
