Locals are urged to volunteer to help at BENEFEST, a concert at the Fine Arts Center June 25 to benefit tornado relief. Volunteers are needed to take on helping with parking, ushering, custodial work and the like. To lend a hand with band equipment ‘“ ‘roadie’ kinds of chores ‘“ call Scott Votaw at 770-358-5891. Sign-up sheets are available at the board of education office as well as more detailed information about the assignments for the day. Three-hour shifts are the standard request for participation. Couples especially are encouraged to sign up.
