Vote today in Presidential Primary; Polling places for Redbone, Chappell Mill have moved

Lamar County voters go to the polls today to cast ballots in the Presidential Preference Primary. There is little drama about the races on the ballot as incumbent Democrat Joe Biden and Republican challenger Donald Trump are their parties’ presumptive nominees.

Polling places throughout the county will be open from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.

There are two major changes, however. The District 2 polling places at the Parker Branch fire station and Redbone Community House have been eliminated. Voters who voted in those locations in the past will now cast ballots at the Barnesville civic center.
