Voters in Barnesville wards four and five go to the polls today, Nov. 3, to choose their city councilmen for the next four years. The polling place at the Barnesville Civic Center is open from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. Check back here tonight for up to the minute election results. In ward four the candidates are Robert Neal Devane, Calvin Scandrett, Larry Whitworth and Bobby York. In ward five, incumbent Cecil (Butch) McDaniel faces challenger Mark Stone.
