The postseason honors continue to roll in for members of the most successful football team in LCCHS history. Senior defensive lineman Frederick Walker made the Atlanta Journal-Constitution all-state first team. Sophomore sensation Quay Searcy made the Associated Press all-state first team as a safety. The Trojans (12-1) finished seventh in the final composite Class AA ratings and project to be a preseason top 10 pick next fall. Other Trojans earning postseason all-state mention included: Denarius Rutherford, Maurice Bloodser, Tevin Childs, Nick Heminger, Lance Austin, Lawrence Austin and Tyler Scandrett.
