By Sherri EllingtonMilner is bracing for an influx of The Walking Dead which is slated to begin Friday as crews from the popular TV show stage sets for filming.Crews are expected to be on site for a couple of weeks though the ‘zombies’ themselves ‘“ along with the human stars of the show ‘“ will be on hand for only four to seven days.’Mostly they’ve been coordinating with police chief Jake Sutton,’ said city administrator Harold Wilson. ‘They have it all set when they’re going to be in town.’Greenwood and Main streets will be closed intermittently during filming, with possible taping occurring downtown. Wilson said that will be only for short periods.’They’ll have to stop when the train comes through,’ he noted.He said film company employees will park in the grassy area between St. George’s Episcopal School and city hall. Equipment will be set up in the old Rudy’s restaurant parking lot on Main Street. The food tent will be in front of what is known as the old Laster home on Greenwood Street, where crews have taken over three rooms for filming.’They should move in there Monday or Tuesday,’ said Wilson. ‘They’ve shuffled the furniture around and even put some in storage.’
