Wanda Diane Vining Holloman, age 73, passed away peacefully on January 14th, 2026, surrounded by loved ones. Born September 7th, 1952, to the late Nathan Felix Vining and Mary Ethel Vining, Wanda lived a life marked by her generosity, strength, and deep love for her family.
Wanda graduated from Avondale High School in Decatur, Georgia in the 1970’s. Over the years she lived in both Barnesville and Griffin, but most of her life was spent in Milner, Georgia, where she proudly owned her two-bedroom home and built a life of love and care for those around her.
In 1981, Wanda began her career with Procter and Gamble, a manufacturing company, where she worked faithfully until her retirement. In 2008 she moved in with her daughter & grandchildren where she lived until her passing.
Wanda found joy in life’s quieter pleasures. She loved puzzles, reading mystery novels, cooking, being outdoors, and spending time with her grandchildren. In her later years she was especially devoted to her passion for genealogy, where she built her family tree dating back to the 1800’s.
