After a scoreless first half, the white team scored on a two yard touchdown run by Nick Fambro with 25 seconds remaining in the third quarter and Maurice Bloodser hit Aaron Head with the two point conversion that was the difference in the white beating the blue in Lamar County High School’s annual spring intra-squad football game.The blue team got on the board with 34 seconds to go in the game on a 28 yard touchdown pass from Lance Austin to Quay Searcy but the two point conversion failed as Austin was sacked by Head on the play to make the final score 8-6. The upcoming freshman won their scrimmage with the middle school team 24-0. Lawrence Austin (69 yard run), Ray Lyonds (63 yard pass reception from Lance Austin) and Quinton Frasier (31 yard interception return) scored touchdowns for the freshmen. Lance Austin also scored on a 54 yard run but it was called back on a holding penalty. He also was involved in all three two point PAT running for two and passing to Jacob Platt for another.
