The Herald-Gazette’s annual survey of public salaries revealed little change over numbers from the previous investigation. The top three wage earners at the local school system (local and federal monies and supplements included) are superintendent Dr. Bill Truby, $118,886.50; assistant superintendent Dr. Terry Mermann, $97, 530.79; and LCPS principal Dr. Julie Steele, $95,691.80. Lamar County administrator Wayne Patterson earns $78,795. Barnesville city manager Kenny Roberts takes home $105,545.
