William Junior Crawford

Mr. William Junior Crawford, 74, more affectionately known as “Big 18” passed on Friday, January 19, 2024 in the Upson Regional Medical Center.
Funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the Antioch Baptist Church. Pastor Keith Battle officiated assisted by Pastor Jimmy Lyons and Evangelist Sandra T. Trice. Interment was in West Mount Sinai Cemetery.
Mr. Crawford received his education in the public school of Upson County and graduated from Booker T. High School.
He was a member of the Antioch Baptist Church. He was formerly employed by Upson County as a bus driver, the City of Barnesville in public works and lastly by Evans Timber Company as a truck driver.
He was survived by one daughter, Mrs. Lisa (Jeffry) Beckham of Thomaston, GA; four grandchildren, Mr. Dontaveous Crawford, Mr. Atrailyus Beckham, Ms. Jaleisa Beckham and Ms. Saniya Beckham all of Thomaston, GA; one great-grandson, Jacaden Crawford; siblings, Berry Byrd, Paulette Marshall, Margaret Marshall, Kristen Leon-Pez, Curtis (Sabrina) Crawford all of VA, Paul Marshall, and Louis (Tammie) Marshall both of Atlanta, GA, Walter Turner of CA, Jonathan Marshall and Rosa (Bobby) Chambliss both of Barnesville, GA, Ricky (Mary Ann) Caslin of Forsyth, GA, Pamela Character and Iris Caslin both of Griffin, GA, Miriam Caslin of Murfreesboro, NC, Denise (Kelricker) Wimbush of Jonesboro, GA; three devoted friends, Mr. James (Gail) Holloway, Mr. R.C. Smith and Mr. and Mrs. James Hughes; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
Trice Funeral Home, Inc. of Thomaston was in charge of all arrangements.
