Mrs. Wilma Lane Bryant Speer, age 82, of Milner, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2015 in a Lamar County Healthcare facility. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Claude “CB” Bryant Mrs. Speer was also preceded in death by her Husband, Mr. Eugene Speer. Mrs. Speer was a school teacher, having taught most of her career in the Cobb County School System and retiring from the Clayton County School System after more than 30 years of total service. Survivors include: her son – Greg Speer of Milner; her sister – Sara Bryant; two granddaughters – Cassie Chaffin and Renee Turner; and two great grandchildren. Funeral services for Mrs. Wilma Speer will be conducted Saturday, November 21, 2015 at 1 p.m. in the Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church. Interment will follow at Lamar Memory Gardens.
