BBQ & Blues is not the only show in town this weekend. For the first time since the mid-1990s, the World Karting Association is bringing Gold Cup competition back to Lamar Speedway on Hwy. 36 West. Trials got underway Thursday and over 300 karters are expected for racing action Saturday and Sunday at the track.
