Woman falls from car, dies

A Macon woman died at the Medical Center of Central Georgia Sunday after falling from a moving vehicle on I-75 in Monroe County. The full press release from Allison Selman-Willis of the Monroe County S.O. follows: A Macon woman is dead after falling out of a vehicle in which she was a passenger on June 17, 2012. The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office received a call around 2:18 a.m. that a woman had fallen out of a car traveling north on I-75 near mm 185 and had been taken to the Monroe County Hospital then transferred to the Medical Center of Central Georgia. The woman, Jeanette Coleman, 60 years of age, died of her injuries at the MCCG later that day. The incident is currently under investigation but foul play is not suspected.
