A 77-year-old Lamar County woman was lifeflighted to Atlanta Medical Center Saturday afternoon after an accident involving a tractor.
Elaine Walters was riding on a tractor driven by her husband, Jack Walters, when she fell from the tractor and suffered a severe lower leg injury and facial injuries.
According to social media posts from family members, Elaine Walters has had one surgery and possibly faces two more. The accident happened near the Walters’ home on Crawford Road.
