A Bibb County woman lost control of her car in a sharp curve while apparently traveling at a high rate of speed and crashed into the cemetery at Bethel Baptist Church October 22. The car was heavily damaged. Documents in the vehicle identified the driver as Shanetreias Watkins. She left the scene on Johnstonville Road in another vehicle, according to witnesses. Witnesses said she was bleeding from one ear. The car had a small ‘doughnut’ spare on one rear wheel. Sgt. Mike Maynard of the GSP is investigating. Watkins has still not been found. She was driving with a suspended license and had not insurance on the wrecked car.
