World’s best beers on tap in Griffin Saturday

In a recent testing, Bell’s Expedition Stout was named the best beer in the world but finding a bottle hereabouts is a near impossibility. That will change Saturday, June 5 as the first ever Doc Holliday Beer Festival debuts in Griffin. Expedition Stout, along with three other Bell’s brews, are on the beer list. Entertainment will be provided by the Sage Hill String Band. Here are the other beers on the tentative menu (subject to availability): Bison Organic Chocolate Brooklyn Lager Brooklyn Summer Ale Dogfish Head 90 Minute IPA Flying Dog Classic Pale Ale Flying Dog Woody Creek White Founders Centennial IPA Founders Dirty Bastard Gordon Biersch Blonde Bock Gordon Biersch Marzen Harpoon Raspberry Wheat Harpoon Seasonal Summer Heavy Seas Loose Cannon Heavy Seas Peg Leg Stout Heavy Seas Red Sky At Night Highland Oatmeal Porter Jailhouse Breakout Stout Jailhouse Limited TBA (Doc Holliday Selection) Jailhouse Mugshot IPA Jailhouse Slammer Wheat Kona Wailua Wheat Lagunitas Maximus Lagunitas PILS Left Hand 400lb.
