Embattled Morehouse police chief Vernon Worthy claims he should have been allowed into the grand jury room to address jurors when the assault case against him was presented. That contention is included in a motion to quash indictments ‘“ one of a plethora of motions attorney Pandora Palmer has filed on Worthy’s behalf. A hearing on those motions is set for Nov. 12.
