Alleged cop killer, career criminal and petty gangster Jamie Hood was finally taken into custody Friday night after making a mockery of law enforcement. Hood eluded authorities with the help of family members and others like himself – those with no respect for authority or the law. Finally, he surrendered on live TV surrounded by ‘hostages’ who many think were actually friends who harbored Hood. Should those friends be charged as accomplices to murder? Should the cops have gone in and taken Hood out or green-lighted SWAT snipers to do the job or were they correct in creating another celebrity killer for whom it will be very difficult to get the death penalty?
