Mrs. Yvonne Blackmon McDaniel, 79, passed away Friday, June 9, 2017. She was a native of Yatesville and had lived her adult life in Barnesville. She was predeceased by her parents, Luke and Novella Flowers Blackmon, and her husband Vernon Glenn McDaniel. Mrs. McDaniel was retired from Carters Mill. Survivors include her daughter, Sherry (& Steve) McDaniel Able of Canton; son, Dennis (Lisa) McDaniel of Fayetteville; grandchildren; Jessica McDaniel of Fayetteville, Austin (Sara) Able of Dawsonville and Brandon (Chelsey) Able of Canton; 3 great grandchildren, Barrett Able, Brantley Able and Braxton Able. Funeral services for Mrs. Yvonne Blackmon McDaniel were conducted on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Lamar Memory Gardens. The family received friends at Williams Funeral Home in Barnesville on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 from 5- 7 pm.
