Clean old-fashioned hate contest

To quote the late, great columnist Lewis Grizzard, Saturday’s Georgia-Georgia Tech football game is “our way of life against theirs.” To highlight game week, we will run a clean old fashioned hate trivia contest all this week. The first person to e-mail the correct answer to the trivia question to news@barnesville.com will win a one-year subscription to The Herald-Gazette which includes e-edition access. The winner will also receive a limited edition ‘We run this state!’ sticker. The second and third contestants to answer the question correctly will receive a sticker. The contest questions will appear at random times under the sports tab but here is the first one: What was the name of the field where the first Georgia-Georgia Tech game was played in 1893 and where was it located? E-mail your answers to news@barnesville.com Good luck! Thanks to Bill Cromartie, author of Clean Old-Fashioned Hate, for the trivia questions.
