Henry Wisebram died at about 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 27 in Atlanta. Funeral services will be held graveside at Greenwood Cemetery in Atlanta at 2 p.m. today – Tuesday, December 29.Wisebram was a second generation Barnesville businessman. The family department store, Wisebram’s, anchored the downtown Barnesville business district for decades having been founded by Henry Wisebram’s father, Elijah, in 1919.Elijah Wisebram was the community’s second Citizen of the Year in 1984. His son, Henry, followed in his footsteps in 1988.Henry Wisebram was later one of only three recipients of the Lifetime Achievement in Business Award by the chamber. They other two are Grady and Stonie Carter of Carter’s Drug Store.Wisebram is survived by his wife, Jeanne; daughter, Dr. Diane Wisebram and her husband, Doc Jewel; son, Steve Wisebram and his wife, Woodie; and two grandchildren, Witt Wisebram and Harden Wisebram, all of Atlanta.The family may be contacted at the home of Steve and Woodie Wisebram, 4552 Rebel Valley View, Atlanta, 30339.
